My Mum always used a Pyrex mixing bowl so I have a particularly soft spot for them, as anyone who has stepped foot in my kitchen will know! This colour is one of my favourites. It is a classic baking bowl with a coloured outer coating in delicious turquoise that looks good with red, burnt orange, jade green, well just about any colour that is going in my opinion. It measures 26 cm diameter and 12 cm deep. The down side of this colour coated Pyrex is that it does tend to collect scratches over the years. This one is in really good condition with no scratches at all, looks like new. DON'T EVER EVER PUT THIS KIND OF PYREX IN A DISHWASHER THOUGH... the vintage Pyrex police know where you live!
It looks fantastic with this green, slightly smaller, baking bowl and also this raspberry-coloured gooseberry! bowl makes a fantastic set, each bowl nestling inside the next.
