The sweetest childrens tea set you're ever likely to come across. White pottery decorated with lilac rosebuds. It is in its original box but the box is very battered and untidy. On the box it says, 'Not just a toy but an authentic miniature tea set made in Staffordshire by manufacturers of traditional English ware' and the mark underneath each piece reads, 'Playtime Pottery Ltd, England'. The box may have taken a bashing over the years but it has protected the ceramic pieces inside which are in excellent condition. There are occasional nibbles on a few of the pieces but no cracks or chips to speak of. The set comprises: 3 cups, 3 saucers, 1 teapot with lid, 1 sugar bowl and 1 milk jug. A child will treasure this tea set forever.
