I am very excited to be able to offer these glass jam jars for sale. I have a limited quantity and don't know if I will be able to find more, so it is strictly first come first serve. They are new French jam jars, reproduced in the style of the most covetable sloping-sided vintage jars especially suited for making jellies and fruit cheeses. If you plan to use them for preserving, you will need to cut your own paper tops as you wont find any on sale to fit. In France the traditional method is to pour a thin layer of melted paraffin wax over the surface of the preserve, which then can be levered away with a knife when opened for eating. These are lovely used for serving jam at the table.
